The introduction of inertia friction welding in Vogt GP valve line promoted standardization, allowing Class 150, 300 & 600 flanged valve bodies to be made from standard forgings which could be interfaced with standard Class 800 valve bonnet assemblies.
The introduction of Class 800 Extended Body Globe valves offers the strength and reliability of an extended body take-off valve with the benefits of a Class 800 globe valve.
